Country superstar Jason Aldean headlines two shows at Mohegan Sun

Jason Aldean, forever and ever, amen.

It's been three years since I reviewed one of the country giant's shows in the Mohegan Sun Arena — and all he's done since then is continue to sell millions of albums and fill arenas and make fans happy.

Expect more of the same Friday and Saturday when Aldean returns to the Sun Arena on his "Six String Circus" tour. The timing is interesting: it's been two years since Aldean's "Old Boots, New Dirts" chart-topper, and rumors are he'll release a new CD before the end of the year. Expect a lot of hits, then — and maybe even a teasing tune or two from the upcoming album.

In support, Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses also appear.
