The Hulls headline benefit show Saturday at 33 Golden Street
In this season of glorious traditions, we might have a new one for you.
Last year, New Haven punk band The Hulls came to New London for a gig at 33 Golden Street. The show was a benefit for the Connecticut Food Bank, and The Hulls encored the next night with a similar presentation in their hometown.
On Friday, the band returns to 33 Golden Street and, again, proceeds go to the Connecticut Food Bank. Ditto for a Saturday gig at Three Sheets in New Haven. Helping out both nights will be New London's superb power trio Marvelous Liars, along with The Nuclears from New York City.
Let's hope this indeed becomes an annual thing.
