There are several problems in trying to construct an awkward rock critic's metaphor that includes references to Weezer, Velvet Revolver, Henry Rollins and Creed.

Still, two things are pretty certain: If those four entities ever got together, 1) Rollins would beat all the others up and 2) any one band that could sound like all of them at once would be called Rise Against. Wait! Did I just come up with an awkward musical metaphor after all?

And if so, will Rollins beat ME up? Or maybe Rise Against beats me up ...
