The piece regarding "Advocating gun control," published Jan. 26, might have been accurately titled "Advocating crazies control," which is a totally laudable goal.

Anything we can do to ensure that those clearly identified as having mental problems do not obtain firearms is something that everybody can and should support. Even the National Rifle Association supports such an action.
