Why are oil prices so high?

I heard Sen. Richard Blumenthal speaking on television about oil prices.

Thank God we have someone who is concerned about the prices.

When he saw something wasn't right, he took steps to look into it and get some facts.

He has sent a letter to the proper people telling them to get some facts - especially when they told us before that we had plenty of oil.

Please write your congressperson and see if a law can be passed to prevent bidding on oil futures.
