Stonington — Police shot and killed a fox this morning in the area of Shea Drive after receiving reports that it had bitten a child and a teenager on Friday night.
The two victims both sought medical treatment for minor injuries, police said. The first incident occurred around 6 p.m. Friday on Pawcatuck Avenue and the second occurred around 10:30 that night on Shea Drive.
Police this morning received several more calls of an aggressive fox in the area of Shea Drive. Police responded to the area and shot the fox, which will be tested for rabies.
