Our so-called justice system is completely out of control. The fact that the two murders in the long ago Petit murder case are still living (at the expense of law abiding taxpayers) makes me wonder if some pro-crime individual is making big bucks dragging this case along. Along this line, much has been written that the death penalty is not working and will not work. How do we know it won't work when we haven't given it a try?

When there's absolutely no question of the crime committed (such as the Petit murders) give the misfits two or three weeks to say goodbye and send them off to the next resting place. It's time for the justice system to include the taxpaying, law-abiding citizens.
