Mashantucket — Foxwoods Resort Casino presented Work Vessels for Veterans a $3,000 check from a recent amateur boxing bout.

Battle of the Badges 4 was held May 19 at Foxwoods, featuring the FDNY Boxing Team against the New England Law Enforcement Team in a 12-bout card. Work Vessels for Veterans, a Noank-based charitable organization that provides deserving veterans the tools they need to return to civilian life, was a major beneficiary of the proceeds.
