Spirit of Broadway stages "[title of show]"

Yes, the first time you see the title of "[title of show]," you're bound to wonder if someone accidentally forgot to fill in the actual.

But, no, that's what the musical by Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen is called.

In the piece, two struggling writers named - hey, wait - Hunter and Jeff want to enter a musical theater festival, but deadline looms. They figure they'll write about ... what to write about. How meta. They and a trio of pals decide to work furiously to create a piece right up until the deadline - and they dream about how the show could change their lives.

BTW: "[title of show]" is taken from the space on the festival's application form that asks for the [title of show] .

The Spirit of Broadway Theater is producing "[title of show]" in a run starting Wednesday. Of note: "[title of show]" was developed during the 2005 Cabaret & Performance Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford.
