The CT Bombers Softball clinics - 14th annual Fall-Ball Girls' Fastpitch Softball skills clinics and league for girls entering grades 5-12, begins Sept. 8 and runs through Oct. 28. All activities will be held at Giddings Park, Route 207 in North Franklin. Saturdays will be for grades 5-8, Sundays for grades 9-12. The first weekend (Sept. 8-9) will be instructional clinics and skills drills instilling or reenforcing proper mechanics and decision making. University of Hartford women's basketball's Walk for Weaver - The University of Hartford Women's Basketball family is coming together to support former player Amanda Weaver (Class of 2011) in her fight against Colon Cancer.
