20th Senate District candidates' forum scheduled for 7 p.m. today

State Sen. Andrea Stillman, the Democratic incumbent in the 20th District, and Republican challenger Mike Doyle will participate in a candidates' forum at 7 tonight at New London Senior Center. Libertarian candidate Marc Guttman was also invited but has said he cannot attend.

Information in an advertisement had the incorrect time.

It is the second in a series of forums organized by The Day for candidates in state Senate and House races. Day Editorial Page Editor Paul Choiniere will serve as moderator. The public will have the opportunity to submit written questions. The forum is scheduled to last roughly an hour.

The next forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Sept. 10 at the Otis Library in Norwich and will include candidates for the 18th Senate District race and House races in the 46th and 47th Districts.
