Ledyard - A Norwich man pulled over late Wednesday during a motor vehicle stop was charged with an August 2009 burglary in Griswold.

Duane Crawford, 23, of 92 Sherwood Lane, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and first-degree larceny.

Police said latent fingerprints connected Crawford to an Aug. 10 burglary at a residence in Griswold in which $20,000 in jewelry was stolen. Police said a good Samaritan and Norwich police helped recover most of the jewelry the following day.

Crawford was being held on a $50,000 bond, pending his arraignment today in Norwich Superior Court.
