North Stonington — A parent of a child who attends a school in the North Stonington School system was arrested early this morning after he got into an argument with the school nurse and vice principal.

Timothy Baas, 47, of 324 Grindstone Hill Road, was charged with breach of peace. State police did not identify the school where the altercation occurred.

Police said Baas left the school and was later arrested at his house. Baas was released on a $500 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Sept. 21.
