Defending national champion Baylor visits Connecticut this season, one of the many games highlighting the UConn women's basketball team's 2012-13 schedule released Thursday.
Baylor and UConn play Feb. 18 at the XL Center in Hartford.
UConn's schedule includes 15 games against teams that qualified for the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
The Huskies begin with a preseason game Nov. 2 against Indiana University (Pa.), a Division II school. The regular season begins Nov. 11 against College of Charleston before an anticipated game Nov. 18 at Texas A&M. The Aggies finished last season ranked No. 12.
UConn will also visit the Virgin Islands to compete in the 2012 Paradise Jam against Wake Forest, Marist and Purdue before a date with 2012 ACC tournament champion Maryland in the 2012 Jimmy V Classic on Dec. 3.
UConn also plays Penn State and Hartford in its nonleague schedule before it concludes 2012 at Stanford and Oregon.
In the Big East, UConn will play eight home games and eight away games with home-and-away series against Notre Dame and Marquette. Connecticut will travel to Georgetown, Marquette, Cincinnati, St. John's Providence, Rutgers, South Florida and Notre Dame and will have home games against Notre Dame, Louisville, Syracuse, Villanova, Marquette, DePaul, Seton Hall and Pittsburgh.
