Norwich - Marcus Outlow made the most of his two carries Saturday afternoon.
The talented junior running back scored on runs of 63 and 20 yards - both in the first quarter - as Norwich Free Academy cruised to a 48-10 football victory over St. Bernard/Norwich Tech in the season opener on Saturday.
Outlow also returned a punt 75 yards for his third touchdown as the Wildcats scored all 48 points in the first half against the outmanned Saints.
NFA's other points came on an Anthony Gomes fumble recovery in the end zone, quarterback Joey Paparelli's 9-yard run, a 34-yard interception return by Calvin Green and an 18-yard run by Khaleed Exum-Strong.
Elisa Formiglio converted six of seven extra points for the Wildcats.
St. Bernard scored all 10 points in the second half, the first three coming on a 25-yard field goal by Kaleb Violette and a 2-yard TD run by quarterback Phil Jenkins.
