State police suspend arson investigation at Norwich State Hospital

Preston - Lack of evidence has caused state police to suspend an investigation into an arson at an abandoned building at the Norwich State Hospital on Route 12.

Police said the Preston fire chief said the fire occurred sometime between Friday night and Monday morning. No injuries were reported and no suspects have been identified.

Police said they will reopen the investigation into the fire when further leads or evidence comes forward.
