You can predict who the audience for The Fresh Beat Band is based on the time Friday's concert starts at Mohegan Sun Arena: 6:30 p.m.

Not as early as those mid-afternoon, early-bird shows by, say, Paul Anka or Bowzer, but enough to let you know the place will be packed with kids.

The Fresh Beat Band is the latest pop-culture phenom from Nickelodeon, whose other creations have included iCarly and Rugrats. For the record: The Fresh Beat Band stars in their own Nick Jr. show and stars characters named Twist, Shout, Marina and Kiki who attend music school together. Marina got short-changed in the cutesy-name department, don't you think?
