UConn seeks veterans to unfurl U.S. flag

East Hartford — The University of Connecticut is looking for 300 veterans to help unfurl a large U.S. flag Nov. 9 in recognition of Military Appreciation Day as the Huskies take on the Pittsburgh Panthers at Rentschler Field. Volunteers receive free admission to the game. Contact Paul.Gaines@uconn.edu and type “Superflag RSVP” in the subject line if interested.
