Get fired up for the BBQ Society Cookoff
Hit New London's Waterfront Park Sunday for the Connecticut's Kansas City Barbecue Society State Championship Cookoff. Barbecue experts from across the country will participate - and the winner will compete in the 2013 American Royal World Series of Barbecue.
On hand: Doug Keiles of New Jersey's Ribs Within cooking team and veteran of the Food Network's "Chopped: Grill Masters"; Rooster Roberts of Florida's Skin And Bones grilling squad featured on PBS' "Barbecue America"; and Ted Reader, author of books like "Beerlicious: The Art of Grillin' and Chillin'."
Interact with the chefs, sample food from local restaurants, and bask in BBQ greatness.
