Regarding the article, "Stillman denounces 'lie' about residency," (Sept. 20), this is a perfect example of a candidate having little substance to offer grasping at straws to win an election.

If her opponenty, Mike Doyle, had enough assets to mention this on his own, he certainly wouldn't be scraping the bottom of the barrel by accusing Andrea Stillman of enjoying her vacation home.

Kind of embarrassing, don't you think?

We need the SATs. It's the only fair way to compare apples to apples when it comes to students from different school systems.

The SATs are a scam. Schools emphasize this test because it looks good for them to accept applicants with high scores, but the approach does not serve students at all.
