Panera bagel sales to benefit L&M breast health programs

Panera Bread in Groton is once again inviting its customers to join the fight against breast cancer by enjoying its signature Pink Ribbon Bagel for breakfast, lunch or dinner during national Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

In celebration of the 11th Annual Pink Ribbon Bagel Campaign, 25 cents from each Pink Ribbon Bagel sold at the Groton bakery-cafe, located on Route 12, will be donated to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London for its breast health programs and initiatives.

The Panera Bread in Groton is one of 24 bakery-cafes owned and operated by Howley Bread Group, LTD based in Cumberland, R.I. Panera Gift Cards will also be donated to the hospital so they can, in turn, be given to breast cancer survivors.
