New political cable access show debuts this week

Capitol Ideas, a new 30-minute long public access television program that centers on guests discussing state policy issues with former state senator Cathy Cook, airs at 6:30 p.m Mondays and Thursdays on Channel 12 for Comcast and Thames Valley Communications subscribers and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. on Metrocast Channel 24 .

Guests this week include former Congressman Rob Simmons and Theresa Madonna, the Republican candidate for the 18th District state senate seat. Next week’s program will feature Ambassador Tom Foley, who ran for governor against current Democratic governor Dannel Malloy.
