Waterford — Police are investigating two separate incidents at Crystal Mall last month in which they say a man exhibiting "voyeuristic behavior" used a camera to peek under fitting room doors.
The incidents occurred on Sept. 8 and Sept. 29 in clothing stores, police said. On those days, the man allegedly attached a small camera or digital recording device similar to an iPod on the top of his sneaker, then stuck his foot under the fitting room doors.
The man fled when confronted, but police obtained video surveillance footage.
The man is described as a white, bald male about 40 years old. He was wearing glasses and is about 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds.
Anyone with information regarding the incidents is asked to contact Waterford police at (860) 442-9451. Refer to Case No. 2012-01780 or Case No. 2012-02034.
