The Sept. 26 article, "Polls show Obama leading in Ohio," is reassuring considering that no Republican has won the White House without winning Ohio.
While Obama's likability factor and raw intelligence make for a formidable foe, Mr. Romney has waged a most curious, precedent-setting campaign.
Romney entered the race in full battle waging a war on women that immediately put 50 percent of the electorate in doubt.
Mother Jones then secretly caught him writing off 47 percent of the electorate, which he did not back off from.
Is his strategy of Super Pac-funded billionaires buying his election combined with Republican-led, voter-suppression ID laws for stealing elections enough to eke out a Nov. 6 victory? Not if we in Connecticut and Rhode Island have anything to say about it.
