Police say woman stole thousands from Gales Ferry Dunkin’ Donuts

Ledyard — Police arrested a woman Wednesday who they say stole more than $4,000 from the Dunkin’ Donuts where she worked at on Route 12 in Gales Ferry.

Belinda M. Colon, 43, of the York Correctional Institution, was charged with third-degree larceny.

Police said the theft was reported in July. Colon allegedly stole $4,800. She was served with a warrant during a court hearing in New London Superior Court in an unrelated crime.
