Norwich — Police arrested two Norwich men Thursday afternoon in connection with a home invasion that occurred on Aug. 16 at a residence on Franklin Street.

James E. Alston, 31, of 96 River Ave., and John R. Factura, 23, of 187 Talman St., were each charged with home invasion, first-degree robbery and third-degree larceny.

Police said the arrests came after an extensive investigation by detectives into the home invasion at 204 Franklin St., where the residents were held at gun point. None of the victims were injured during the incident. Police said cash and jewelry were stolen.

Alston and Factura are each being held on a $250,000 bond, pending their arraignment today in Norwich Superior Court.

Police said that further arrests are anticipated.
