New London curbside solid waste and recycling collection delayed one day

New London —Due to the Columbus Day holiday on Monday, curbside solid waste and recycling collection is delayed by one day. Garbage collection will return to its regular schedule on Monday.

The Transfer Station also will be open on Saturday 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m.

The one-day delay and Saturday transfer station special hours will next occur the week of Nov. 12. The transfer station will will be open Saturday, Nov. 16.
