The Mystic band Barefoot Truth is breaking up after almost a decade's hard-earned ascendancy throughout the indie rock world. Their brand of acoustic pop, recalling the best of Jason Mraz and Dave Matthews, won a fervent legion of fans across the U.S. Albums such as "Carry Us On," "Threads" and "Life Is Calling" were finely crafted and hooky, and their electro-shock live shows were the real deal.
Barefoot Truth has embarked on a farewell tour this fall, and their final hometown performance takes place Saturday in New London's Garde Arts Center. The show is a wonderful opportunity to say thanks for a job well done and to wish them well.
