New Health Director for CRAHD

The Connecticut River Area Health District (CRAHD)that serves the towns of Old Saybrook, Clinton, and Deep River earlier this month appointed Jim Monopoli to be the district's new permanent Health Director. His first day of work was Oct. 1.

CRAHD has been without a permanent health director since former health director Mary Jane Engle retired.

Monopoli previously worked as health director for East Shore Regional Health District based in Branford. He served a director in that district from the year 2000-2009.
