Obama: Bad employee everyone still likes

How else but a likeable personality can explain President Obama's continued popularity among many?

His track record speaks for itself. His economic policies don't work, the debt he promised to cut in half has doubled. Gas prices are up 102 percent to $4 a gallon and skyrocketing food costs are just the tip of the deadly financial iceberg we are heading for with Captain Obama.

And if that was not enough this may well be the most secretive and corrupt government in history. Coverups and using strong-armed executive power to protect Attorney General Eric Holder from releasing "Fast and Furious" documents along with the recent attacks and killings at our unprotected embassies is just a few examples of closed-door politics. (Remember when Obama promised to put congressional bills on the Internet and instead Nancy Pelosi said "we have to pass the (health care) bill so that you can find out what's in it."

But facts don't seem to matter in the popularity polls. All of us work with an employee who does so little and yet is so charming and so well liked nobody will fire him.

Yes, Obama is a nice guy, but so was the captain of the "unsinkable" Titanic. Anyone getting a "sinking" feeling about the United States?
