I would like to discuss one of the more dismaying and disheartening hypocrisies of today's Democratic Party. They claim to be the party that respects and cares for women. Yet, arguably, the two most popular and successful Democratic leaders of the last three decades have been Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy. The former is a known sexual harasser (probably serial), the latter infamously known for his cowardly and criminal behavior at Chappaquiddick.
Not only do they proclaim they're the party that respects women, but label Rush Limbaugh and his ilk as despicable and beyond forgiveness for calling people bad names. This is a perfect example of the moral relativity that hijacked the Democratic Party during the Vietnam era. It appears party loyalty trumps honesty and decency; a crucial prerequisite for all totalitarian parties.

Mitt Romney and other conservatives have called for the end of government subsidies to public broadcasting. Do you think tax dollars should go to PBS and NPR?
