I recently spoke with Emmett Riley as he makes his way around our community running for state representative and was very impressed.

Mr. Riley has visited more than 3,000 homes over the past several months, introducing himself to voters and asking them about their concerns. He is a bright, thoughtful and engaged candidate who is well-versed on a variety of issued that confront our state. His ideas and enthusiasm will make him an effective fighter for the interests of Norwich.

Candidates for office are essentially interviewing for a job during the campaign season. Having taken the measure of both Mr. Riley and his opponent, the choice is very clear. Riley is more qualified, a more effective communicator, and ready to work for us starting on the day he assumes office.

Emmett Riley is the smart choice for state representative in Norwich's 46th District this election season.
