Registration open for drive-through flu shot clinic Oct. 27

Registration is being accepted for the drive-through flu shot clinic from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Robert E. Fitch Senior High School in Groton.

The event will be a regional emergency preparedness exercise for Ledge Light Health District, Uncas Health District, Northeast District Department of Health, Eastern Highlands Health District, Groton Community Emergency Response Team, Groton Emergency Management and the Medical Reserve Corps.

Registration is required due to a limited supply of vaccine. People must be 18 or older to register; flu shots will be given free of charge.
