Chris Coutu is all about eastern Connecticut's grassroots. He has lived here all his life and knows the people he represents.

For Chris to cast the lone no vote against the $1.1 billion legislation raising taxes on families by $800 annually showed his true grit. Connecticut needs more legislators to exercise intelligent forethought and decisive action far in advance to prevent any threatening fiscal crisis.

With eastern Connecticut, exhausted by high unemployment and a deluge of housing problems, Chris Coutu understands the impact of small businesses and the preservation of industries is what will restore a high quality of life.
