State police charged a 33-year-old Lebanon man Friday with possessing child pornography after an investigation revealed he was sharing images and videos over the internet.
Jason Fraser, of Rita Drive, was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography.
Police said an investigation began in June after the state police computer crimes unit discovered Fraser was sharing files of suspected child pornography from an internet account assigned to his home. Police searched Fraser’s home in July and seized evidence of the pornography.
Fraser is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Nov. 8 in Norwich Superior Court.
