Massachusetts man arrested in Montville stabbing

Montville — A 31-year-old man was stabbed in the left leg on Saturday when he was involved in an altercation with a Massachusetts man, police said.

Thomas Keane was taken to William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich for treatment and then transferred to Rhode Island Hospital. Police did not list his address and his status was unavailable Sunday night.

Kenn W. Hannah, 35, of Montague, Mass., was charged Saturday with first-degree assault. He is being held on a $500,000 bond and a court date for his appearance was not listed.
