Debates made this choice easy: Vote Christopher Coutu for Senate

Over the past month, I watched Sprague First Selectwoman Cathy Osten and Rep. Christopher Coutu at multiple debates. The contrast stands out.

Osten is quick to say Coutu does not support children, seniors, small business and veterans. At the same time she agrees with Gov. Malloy's tax plan and not suspending the early release of violent offenders, which hurt all of us. I now know she was a state union leader who not only endorsed, but also worked for the governor's campaign.

These cheap shots are baseless. Chris leads American Warrior, which motivates hundreds of students to write letters to support veterans. He is a military officer and continues to serve after 17 years. Through American Warrior, Chris is constantly raising funds, helping and supporting seniors.

Let's support our independent endorsed leader Rep. Chris Coutu in the 19th Senate District. He is a mentor for the youth and has a proven record of helping seniors. We need his voice in Hartford to fight for us.
