Eastern Chamber offers free space to businesses without power

The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is offering temporary space at its offices in Waterford to as many as three businesses affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Tony Sheridan, president of the chamber, said today that businesses particularly in hard-hit areas such as Mystic and East Lyme could be accommodated. The temporary space would have Internet and phone service as well as space for a computer and photocopying.

Many businesses are without power throughout eastern Connecticut as electrical restoration continues throughout the region.

For information, call the chamber at 860-701-9113.
