Town to take part in American Education Week

Montville — The town invites interested parents and citizens to visit the town’s public schools starting Tuesday, Nov. 13, as part of American Education Week.

The event, which will run through Friday, Nov. 16, is designed for people to see what’s happening in the town’s schools and ask questions about programs and policies. People are also encouraged to participate in the school lunch program.

The town’s three elementary schools are in session from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The Leonard J. Tyl Middle Schools is open from 8:10 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. Montville High School and the Palmer Academy are open from 7:35 a.m. to 2:05 p.m.

Visitors are required to notify the central office in advance of any visit. Contact the central office by calling 860-848-1228.
