The state has released a fact sheet for Connecticut residents seeking information on how to apply for federal disaster assistance resulting from storm Sandy.
The fact sheet provides details on the Federal Emergency Management Agency application process and can be downloaded at www.ct.gov/sandy.
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy said the information "will be regularly updated with the latest information."
Officials say residents should use the online registration method at www.DisasterAssistance.gov in order to expedite the registration process or call (800) 621-FEMA (3362).
More information is available at disaster recovery centers locally at the Groton Senior Center and the Old Saybrook Department of Police Services.
