Laura Hainline of Mystic and Michael Irace of Alexandria, Va. were married at the Branford House at Avery Point in Groton on July 21, 2012.

Laura is the daughter of Amy Hunsinger of Mystic and the late John Hainline, and works as a math teacher in Groton.

Michael is the son of Mary and Anthony Irace of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and works for the U.S. Patent Office in Alexandria.

The couple met at a Halloween party and were engaged five years later. They honeymooned in the Greek Islands and now reside in Groton.
