Stonington ‑ Police are investigating an early morning break-in at Hamm’s Wine Cellar at 7 Liberty St.
Sgt. Bryan Schneider said an alarm activation alerted police at 1 a.m. of the incident.
When police arrived, there were signs of a break-in, but Schneider said he could not say what they were nor could he say if anything was taken from the business.
He said police along with a K-9 from Troop E in Montville searched the area, but found no suspects.
Schneider said police are investigating several leads.
