Lisbon - A Bozrah man was arrested Monday after police said he was driving 101 mph on Interstate 395 north just prior to Exit 84 in Lisbon.
Phillip Edward, 21, was charged with reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana and interfering with police.
Police said after stopping Edward, they discovered the drugs. He told police that he was driving fast because he was running late for work.
Edward posted a $1,500 bond, and is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 29 in Norwich Superior Court.
