Time to plan Hygienic Art XXXIV

Published December 04. 2012 4:00AM

The first planning meeting for Hygienic Art XXXIV will be held at the Hygienic Art Galleries, 79 Bank St., New London, on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and take part in the annual winter arts extravaganza, which includes visual arts, music, theater, poetry, film and fashion components. Concepts for invitation, poster and T-shirt art also will be accepted for consideration.

This year marks the 34th year of the art and performance festival. The main exhibition hosted at the galleries is modeled after the Salon des Independents movement in Paris.
