Republicans see Susan Rice as a threat

I have been amazed by the harsh attack of Susan Rice by Republicans for her comments on Libya, promising to block a nomination of her to replace Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
To most of us this seems silly, but so did the attacks on Hillary Clinton even before Bill was elected president in 1992. I suspect the far right sees Rice as a threat and a very possible candidate for the presidency in 2016 and are getting on this problem early. I give them credit for never giving up the fight.
