It seems everyone who sees this idiosyncratic comedy loves it. "Moonrise Kingdom" does roll with director/co-writer Wes Anderson's usual mannered eccentricity, but it's also got a lot of heart. While the film boasts some big names - Bill Murray, Frances McDormand and Bruce Willis among them - it's really two unknowns who steal the show. Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward bring something both innocent and oddball to their performances as a pair of 12-year-olds falling into first love. It's all set in 1965 New England, and much of "Moonrise Kingdom" was shot in Rhode Island, including at Camp Yawgoog in Rockville and Trinity Church in Newport.
