Westerly - Two Westerly High School students escaped injury late this morning when their pickup truck flipped on John Street and ended up hanging from a utility pole guy wire.
Police at the scene said the two were able to climb out of the Chevrolet pickup on their own.
Police said it appears the driver turned onto John Street from Elm Street and lost control. A tow truck was able to drag the pickup down from the wire and John Street was able to reopen about 11:30 a.m.
