?Address Violence for Our Children's Sake: A Thoughtful Response to Sandy Hook" will be a public conversation held at Trinity Church on the Branford Green on Monday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.

Trinity rector Rev. Sharon Gracen is organizing the talk, during which she said she hopes "we will be naming and addressing the underlying causes of the violence we see around us, and working to create a different way of being in our town."

The community conversation will address ways to raise children in a safer society. Possible areas of focus may include bullying, violent video games, Internet safety, sensible gun laws, supporting Sandy Hook Promise, creating a Safety Pledge, parenting classes, and more.

Join the conversation at Branford's Trinity Church (with the red doors) on Monday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. No ongoing commitment is required. Coffee, light refreshments, and childcare will be provided. For more information, contact Rev. Sharon Gracen at rector47@trinitybranford.org or Sarah Lockery at jsjlock@hotmail.com">jsjlock@hotmail.com
