Low Temps, Local Warming Centers Open

The Smith Library in Northford is one of three warming centers now open in North Branford.

With weather stuck in the teens, North Branford residents seeking shelter from the cold can hunker down for a few hours at the town's three warming centers. The center hours are as follows:

Atwater Library -1720 Foxon Road - North Branford
Hours: Mon -Thurs 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 am. - 6:00 p.m. and
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Smith Library - 3 Old Post Road - Northford
Hours: Mon -Thurs 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 am. - 6:00 p.m. and
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

North Branford Community Center 1599 Foxon Road - North Branford
Hours: Mon - Thurs 5:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday 5:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and
Saturday and Sunday 6:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon
