Since July 2012 several businesses have moved into the former Gales Ferry School building.

Love at First Stamp was previously a home based stamping store in Ledyard for 19 years. This store carries stamps from over 100 companies.

Create is a new scrapbooking shop that rents tables for the day for $15. This shop provides a variety of papercutting machines and the dies etc that go with them. The machines can be used free of charge after you rent a table.

Art in the Village has a room where you can take classes in jewelry making and many other types of art techniques.

Jazzercise is held in the gym several times a day during the week for $35 a month.

Move Fitness classes are held Tues/Thurs mornings in the gym for $4 a class if you take 2 classes a wwek or $5 for one class per week.

Kindermusik classes for chidren 0-5 years of age are held several times a week in the morning or afternoon.

SCRRRA- Southeastern CT Regional Resources Recovery Authority has an office here where they handle recycling for our local towns.
